A Personal Experience: Amy Barnhill at the Women in HVAC Conference 2024

The 2024 Women in HVAC Conference, held in Palm Springs, California, was a gathering of over 260 female professionals across North America, united under the theme “Discover Your Possible.” This event provided a space for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Amy Barnhill was among the attendees, and her experience at the conference reaffirmed her commitment to empowering women in HVAC. Some of the most impactful moments included:

  • Keynote sessions on leadership and business growth strategies
  • Workshops focused on skill development, industry trends, and personal success strategies
  • Panel discussions featuring experienced female HVAC professionals sharing their career journeys
  • Networking opportunities that allowed women from all facets of the HVAC industry—dealers, distributors, technicians—to exchange ideas and foster mentorships.
  • An appearance by bestselling author Kindra Hall, who took the stage to discuss intentional storytelling and its applications

Amy returned from the conference inspired and eager to continue championing diversity in HVAC. The insights she gained will further strengthen Residential Heating & Cooling’s commitment to supporting women in this field.

Residential Heating and Cooling deliver what they promise!

Our furnace broke down on Sunday. An hour later, the owner of the company was at our door. After a quick diagnosis, he presented our options and we decided to have the unit replaced (it was 20 years old). The next day, the unit was installed. They were quick, efficient, and accommodating. If you are looking for a HVAC company, look no further! They are a local, family company, and they definitely now what they are doing. We highly recommend them.

Eric and Mike were outstanding with installing my furnace.

It was -7 and my furnace went out on a Friday afternoon. They installed a new unit the same day. Very professional service and fair prices. Mike did and outstanding job on the install and stayed until 9:30pm to make sure my house had heat. Thank you guys!
